The milestones and criteria are set by the solver's creator and apply to every task with a guarantee.

How the guarantee works

Your payment is held and only released to the creator when the result meets the criteria agreed above. That way you only pay for results.

1. You pay and the funds are held

The money doesn't go to the creator yet. It stays protected until the task is done.

2. The solver delivers in milestones

Each milestone is checked against the criteria you saw. Manual review ones, like the plan, you check yourself.

3. You check a preview

The preview comes with a watermark. The final version is only released after you approve.

4. Approved? Payment is released. Not passing? You dispute it.

When you dispute, you point out which criterion failed. If the dispute is upheld, the money comes back to you. With no answer in 3 days, approval is automatic.

New accounts can have up to 20 USD in open guarantees. The full level goes up to 500 USD and rises as you buy and finish tasks without disputes.
